I've spent my career opening doors to care.

For 24 years I worked to operate and expand sexual and reproductive health centers in Texas, one of the hardest policy climates in the country. Most recently I served as Senior Vice President of Health Services at Planned Parenthood of Greater Texas, leading 22 health centers, 140 staff and a budget of more than $25 million.

Along the way I integrated four acquired health centers in 120 days, led five consecutive clean accreditation cycles, managed Title X and federal grant compliance, and grew clinician visits by 30% in a single year.

I learned that strategy only matters when it shows up in the schedule, the staffing plan and the patient's experience. I started The ValueS Proposition to bring that experience to organizations that are growing, merging or between leaders, so more people can get the care they need.

Learn the value of valueS

Nonprofits define their mission well. Few can name the values that actually drive their decisions, or see how those values help or hurt their success. Every engagement starts with what your organization says it values and checks whether your operations reflect it.

My own core values: Contribution, Leadership, Vision, Family & Nature, and Gratitude.

Speaking and workshops

Drawing on Viktor Frankl and Shalom Schwartz, my talk, The ValueS Proposition, shows leaders and teams how to find their values and put them into practice with the DEEP method: Discover, Examine, Embody, Practice. I also speak on clinic growth and multi-site integration, accreditation and Title X readiness, and workforce wellbeing in sexual and reproductive health.
